How ProxyCC evaluates AI API relay services
ProxyCC is an independent directory for comparing AI API relay services used with Claude Code, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI, and compatible developer tools. The directory currently covers 34 services and records model support, pricing, payment options, direct access from mainland China, invoicing, and practical limitations. ProxyCC does not operate an API relay and is not affiliated with the listed providers.
What to compare before choosing
Start with compatibility, not the advertised discount. Confirm that the provider exposes the API format required by your tool, supports the exact model family you need, and documents the correct base URL and environment variables. A low multiplier is not useful if requests are silently routed to a different model or if tool calling and prompt caching are unavailable.
Then evaluate total cost and operational risk: input and output token prices, cache pricing, minimum top-up, credit expiry, peak-hour availability, rate limits, refund rules, and whether invoices are required for your team. Keep two providers configured when the work is time-sensitive so an upstream outage does not stop development.

Sources, editorial process, and limitations
Records are compiled from provider websites, public documentation, pricing pages, product announcements, and direct submissions. The editorial team normalizes those claims into comparable fields and marks known limitations. Ratings are an editorial comparison aid rather than a guarantee. Availability, routing, and prices can change without notice, so verify material details on the provider website before paying or placing production traffic.
Affiliate links may be used for some providers. Their presence does not change the fields shown in the directory, and inclusion is not an endorsement. Start with a small test payment, avoid sending secrets in prompts, rotate exposed API keys, and read the provider’s privacy and retention terms when handling proprietary code or personal data.
